About the First Workshop
The TA Next-Gen Series #1 is the first workshop, themed "The TA Profession in the AI Era", kicking off a knowledge-sharing journey to elevate Talent Acquisition as AI and data change the way companies hire around the world.
Talent Acquisition at the Crossroads: Go Global or Just "Count" CVs
TAs without the right skills are already being left behind in the recruitment industry, and the future may be even tougher. Over more than a year of interviewing and working with the Talent Acquisition community in Vietnam, Hire Central has observed several common realities:
- More than 95% of TAs come from other fields and have no formal training in recruitment
- Most learn the job by observing, imitating and drawing on personal experience
- They can make hires but cannot measure why those hires worked
- When they fail to hire, they don't know where the cause lies
This way of working helps TAs survive, but it does not build a solid foundation for the profession's long-term growth. Meanwhile, around the world, Talent Acquisition is shifting rapidly:
